Rose Bay Secondary College Library

Working closely with teaching and library staff at RSBC, fable transformed the existing library into an engaging contemporary space that supports future focused learning. The new school library is inviting and inclusive, creating opportunities for a wide variety of teaching styles in a series of spaces which are designed to be flexible, agile and inspiring.

Zones are created to allow for group based/social learning as well as quieter spaces allowing individual study and reading. The working/studying zones are carefully separated from the circulation areas, minimizing distractions /managing noise and maintaining a sense of calm and retreat. The palette of blues, greens evokes the unique coastal location of the school.

Library signage was custom designed, capturing the principles of future focused learning, and working together with the interior space to create a vibrant and playful learning experience.
